Daniel Radcliffe, famous for his nerdy character in Hollywood series Harry Potter, is about to shock the audience with his unexpected character in his upcoming film Guns Akimbo. The 30-year-old actor joined director and writer Jason Lei Howden along with star Samara Weaving in the Toronto Film Festival studio, to discuss his acting limits and enhancements with weapons attached to his hands.
Fight or die
The film starts in a world, full of crime and aggression, with a nefarious underground internet movement, known as ‘skism’, that live casts random strangers who fight each other to death. But the story takes a turn when the ghastly streaming service notices Radcliffe’s mild behavior, who is a desk jockey and hates trolling, Miles, things get more violent.

In the movie, the character is kidnapped, knocked out and revived with guns literally bolted to both of his hands. The character gets stuck in this real-life, video game hell, where he gets only two choices, either fight or die, reported an American entertainment magazine.
Radcliffe's reaction to the script
Radcliffe said that the script sounds very promising and interesting, and it was fun to read, it had insane ideas in the middle of which it was fully explored.
Howden informed that in the movie the device isn't just about crazy fight scenes, having guns for hands. It's also a device for a lot of physical comedy that he enjoyed. He further explains by asking how does someone dress up or eat food, or even pick a phone when you have guns bolted in your hands. Howden shared his experience about how he wrapped water guns to his hands and spent a day going round his house with that.
