CBFC vs Ford vs Ferrari
The Central Board of Film Certification is once again in the limelight. The CBFC has blurred out alcohol bottles and glasses containing alcohol from the film Ford vs Ferrari. Pictures of the incident are going viral online. The CBFC has also muted the dialogue ‘S*n of a B****h’ from the film. A source close to the studio producing the film has been quoted by a media portal while speaking about this issue regarding Ford vs Ferrari scenes. The source said that the studio knows that they have to blur out the alcohol bottles since they carry the name of the brand and CBFC guidelines do not allow that. PVR Pictures Joint Managing Director Sanjeev Kumar Bijli in an interview with another media portal also spoke about this issue involving the CBFC and Ford vs Ferrari. He was quoted saying that the restrictions put by the Censor board frequently affects the business of Hollywood films in India. Thus indicating that performance of Ford vs Ferrari might get affected because of the ongoing issue.
