Christopher Dennis who is renowned for performing as Superman in the Hollywood Boulevard reportedly passed away on November 2, in the San Fernando Valley at the age of 52 according to media reports. The cause of his death has not yet been revealed. The Super Museum, a museum dedicated to Superman history situated in Metropolis III confirmed the news in a Facebook post. He was known for impressing people on the Hollywood Boulevard dressed as Superman. His physique, tall character, thin frame, and full jet-black hair has garnered equal attention and appreciation from the audience.

The actor featured a number of times on the popular 'Jimmy Kimmel Live! and starred in the 2007 documentary Confessions of a Superhero. He also featured with Kimmel on the cover of a 2011 Hollywood Reporter issue. The Super Museum posted on Facebook that, "We want to take a moment to extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Christopher Dennis better known as ‘Hollywood Superman.’ We’ve just received word of his passing."
It also added, "Many years ago he married the love of his life here in Metropolis in front of the Superman statue. He spent time with our family and showed lots of support for our museum and the Superman Celebration.”
Dennis was inspired to play the character of Hollywood's Superman
Dennis was inspired to play the character of Hollywood's Superman after he was frequently being told that he resembled Christopher Reeve’s 1980s Superman. He designed his outfit and assumed the role around 30 years ago that would lead to appearances on The Daily Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Dennis had to go through homelessness in 2016 after his motor home was dragged and when his Superman costume was stolen, he successfully funded another costume allowing him to bring smiles to those who walked Hollywood Boulevard.
