Real essence of cinema diminishing
The 50-year-old actress also explained how the very essence of realistic cinema, the good old cinema is diminishing due to the Big Marvel movies in the film industry. She also added that neither she has ever been asked to do those kinds of films nor she is interested in living on a green screen. The Morning Show actor expressed that she feels a bit nostalgic, remembering her favourite films from the 70s and ’80s, telling that there should be “resurgence” of those sort of films.
She also recalled names of movies like Heaven Can Wait, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, Goodbye Girl, and Terms of Endearment, saying that one must get these movies on screens again, and enjoy the real cinema. She also stated that people around the world would love to have the era of Meg Ryan come back.
Aniston misses the Thursday nights at eight o’clock tradition
According to reports, the Marvel studios recently released seven movies, and has announced the release of six more by year 2021. And although streaming services have helped create new opportunities for the actress, such as her new upcoming series The Morning Show, she remembers being taken aback by the concept of them.
Aniston explained that she misses the Thursday nights at eight o’clock tradition and the way people went to the bathroom on a commercial break and someone yells, ‘It’s back on!’ thing, she feels sad that the streaming tradition has diminished the fun of watching films and television.
According to reports, in addition to her new show, it seems Aniston will be once again working with Netflix, who recently announced the sequel to her an Adam Sandler’s popular comedy, Murder Mystery.
