Jeremy Renner trolls Paul Rudd for his 'Sexiest Man Alive' title, shares hilarious pic

Marvel Cinematic Universe's beloved superhero Ant-Man actor Paul Rudd was officially declared as the sexiest man alive by People Magazine on November 10. Netizens on social media had a blast reacting to the announcement as many agreed with the magazine while some disagreed with the decision. However, Rudd's friends had a clear mind about it as they publicly reacted to the news.

The latest addition to celebrities reacting to Paul Rudd's new feat is his Marvel co-star and friend Jeremy Renner. Taking to his Instagram on November 11, the actor playing Hawkeye in MCU shared a throwback picture with Paul Rudd where they are seen embracing each other. The photo designed as a movie poster was titled, '50-year-old virgins in theatres now'. He poked fun at him being handsome as well by writing,

''Congrats to my friend Paul Rudd , “sexiest man alive” !!! …. From your friend, who looks tremendous , in the dark… like ‘zero light handsome’ 😂😉. #paulrudd''

Netizens were quick to react to Renner's congratulatory post as one fan wrote, ''My favourite bromance'' while another wrote, ''Hopefully Hope and Laura don’t find out about this 😂❤️'' referring to their character's partners in MCU. The comments section was filled with heart and laughing emojis as many teased them for being a beautiful couple. 

On the work front, the duo has worked together in a couple of MCU ventures namely Avengers: Endgame, Captain America: Civil War, Ant-Man and Avengers: Infinity War.

Jeremy Renner was not the only one reacting to Paul Rudd becoming the Sexiest Man Alive for the year 2021 as Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds had a hilarious reaction to it on Today's show by stating, ''This opportunity will be wasted on Rudd, like so many before him, Don’t blow this, Rudd. If you’re there, do not blow this opportunity. Run like the wind.''

Another Marvel co-star Mark Ruffalo took to his Twitter and wrote, ''Is that Paul Rudd…#SexiestManAlive?! I knew this day would come. Congrats, man I hope you continue to never age so you can continue to hold this title.'' Seth Rogen simply tweeted, ''No arguments here''.
