Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom's trailer shows humans and dinosaurs fighting a common foe

The Chris Pratt- and Bryce Dallas Howard-starrer releases on June 22, 2018, and appears to have a deeper, more mature storyline than ever before

After an almost 2.5-year-long wait, there is finally a trailer for the next installment in the iconic Jurassic Park series. The full trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is out and for 2 minutes and 27 seconds, fans of the series are likely to find themselves transfixed! The plot is set in four years after Jurassic World was overrun by dinosaurs. The preview opens with a 'bang' that reveals that Blue, the baby Velociraptor that appeared in the prequel was brought up by Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and is still alive.

Owen, a dinosaur lover, refuses to turn his back on Jurassic World upon being informed that a volcano on the abandoned Isla Nublar is about to erupt and will plunge the dinosaurs into extinction. Owen and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) decide to save them and they head back to the island. Meanwhile, there's an ongoing debate in the background on whether dinosaurs should be given protection like the other species or if they can be just left to die.

The trailer ends on a literal cliffhanger with the protagonists running towards the cliff of the island along with the dinosaurs as the monstrous volcano erupts.  Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom promises to leave its viewers awe-struck! For more fans have to wait until June 22, 2018.
