Kanye West wants to add 'Christian Genius Billionaire' to his name

At an innovation festival recently, hip-hop artist Kanye West claimed that he might change his name to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West for a year. This, he said while promoting his design brand called Yeezy which had his collaborator Steven Smith as its lead designer. In an interview during the festival, Kanye claimed that he wants people to know that he has money and that he is a genius.

The rapper's name was recently included in the list of the 'wealthiest hip-hop artists in the world' by Forbes' magazine. However, it bothered Kanye when they did not call him 'a billionaire' in their magazine. The artist recalled the series of downfalls he had in the year 2016 when he had reportedly asked the social networking mogul, Mark Zuckerberg, for a loan of $1 billion and how he had now financially bounced back.

Kanye wants to officially change his name to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West to make a statement about not only his progress but also of the African-American society. He cited the example of Martin Luther King and claimed that it was for talking about the social and economic empowerment of the African-Americans that he was assassinated. Kanye also went on to quip about running for the presidency of the United States in 2024. 

Apart from this occasion, the rapper has often publicly pronounced himself in superlative terms. At a recent interview a few weeks ago, he marked himself as a creative genius and claimed that his music was perfect. He claimed to be "unquestionably, undoubtedly, the greatest human artist of all time”.

Kanye West has been married to reality TV star Kim Kardashian since 2014, and they have four children together. The couple has often contributed to the cause of community empowerment through donations and charities. In fact, on the occasion of his wife's birthday, Kanye West recently donated $1 million to four criminal justice reform charities. Kim Kardashian took to social media to share her joy with fans about the gift given by her husband.
