Pearl Harbor actor Kate Beckinsale recently said that she looks like Ryan Reynolds. While she was on the The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, she stated that her looks were quite similar to The Proposal actor. The Underworld actor added that whenever she sees a bus with a movie poster of Reynolds passes by, she says to herself that she looks hot and then realizes that it is not her and it is not a movie she is starring in.

'I look exactly like Ryan Reynolds'

As television show host, Jimmy Fallon, was unable to find any similarity between both the actors, Kate stated that she really thought about how Ryan did not even look like a girly actor in order to support the uncanny resemblance. The Serendipity actor called Reynolds a big man from Canada and she really saw that resemblance in him.

She added that both of them can never be in the same room as something would happen to either of them. Kate Beckinsale also added that many of her ex-boyfriends have felt really uncomfortable after meeting Ryan as they felt compromised and very intimate.

Kate to play a bouncer in Jolt

On the work front, Kate Beckinsale will be a part of Jolt which is being helmed by Tanya Wexler and written by Scott Wascha. She will be playing the character of Lindy, a bouncer, who has anger-management issues that she controls by giving shocks to herself through an electrode-lined vest whenever she starts to get homicidal tendencies.

Ryan Reynolds to team up with John Krasinski for Imaginary Friends

Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds will be teaming up with John Krasinski for the upcoming comedy film Imaginary Friends. The movie is set to be written and helmed by Krasinski with paramount pictures producing the film. The movie is being termed as a fantasy comedy wherein the main character will be able to talk to other people's imaginary friends. Reynolds' character would be to save the world from those lonely people who become evil.

Also, he will next be seen in Fox-Disney's Free Guy and Transformers fame, Michael Bay's, Netflix action film 6 Underground.
