American stand-up comedian, actor, and producer Kevin Darnell Hart who met with a road accident in Southern California Highway finally spoke about the incident. Hart’s attorney, Andrew Brettler, earlier informed that the actor was doing ok and recovering from his injuries and under physical therapy at home. He suffered major back injuries in a crash. On October 11, his attorney Andrew Brettler released a statement to the media where Kevin addressed Jared Black and Rebecca Broxterman who were accompanying him on the car that day.
"I have nothing but love for Jared and wish him and Rebecca a speedy recovery," he shared.
Details of Kevin's accident
As per reports, the accident injured three and Hart was hospitalized for 10 days before he was discharged to undergo physical therapy at a rehabilitation facility. Jared Black was turning on to Mulholland Highway near Malibu early on September 1 when he accelerated and lost control while driving the comic actor’s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda with Hart and Black’s fiancee, Rebecca Broxterman, as passengers, the report from the California Highway Patrol said. The car then careened down an embankment and slammed into a tree. Evidence from an examination of the Plymouth suggested no one had been wearing seatbelts which aggravated the injuries. Thankfully the lot is on the path of recovery. Weeks ago, the star's wife Eniko Hart, with whom he shares a son, also gave a positive update about the actor's condition earlier.
"He's doing well, thank you. We're just taking it one day at a time. He'll be back on track in no time," Eniko said the media.
Kevin has not resumed work
Medical reports reiterated that Black was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Though official reports said that he violated the law, but did not say whether charges were likely. Neither Black nor Broxterman could be reached. It is not clear when Kevin will come back to work. He only shot promos for the upcoming 'Jumanji' sequel for a few hours this past week, an entertainment daily reported.
