If you're looking forward to a ‘Sex and the City’ reunion, you could be in for some disappointment as all doesn’t seem to be well between the star cast. As the Emmy Awards 2018 red carpet rolled out, the show’s star Kristin Davis took to Instagram to share a throwback picture taken in 2004. However, missing from the picture, which features Cynthia Nixon and Sarah Jessica Parker, was Kim Cattrall. For the uninitiated, Cattrall, 62, has been at loggerheads with her former co-stars ever since Sara Jessica Parker, who played Carrie Bradshaw, had revealed that the third 'Sex And The City' movie had been scrapped in September 2017. Kim Cattrall had then expressed her disappointment and stated that they had a beautiful, funny, heartbreaking, joyful, very relatable script and story.
The same day, Willie Garson who played the role of Stanford Blatch retweeted a report which claimed that Cattrall’s “outrageous demands” were the reason behind the film not seeing the light of day. The cold war between the former co-stars took a nasty turn when Cattrall’s brother, Christopher, was found dead in February 2018. Cattrall lashed out in response to Sarah Jessica Parker who had extended her condolences to the actress. She took to Instagram to say, “My Mom asked me today “When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?” Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona.”

Earlier, Sarah Jessica Parker had made an attempt (seemingly in vain) to put an end to the feud on behalf of Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon. As per reports, the 'I Don't Know How She Does It' actress had stated that the three of them have expressed their disappointment about not making the third film. She further reportedly went on to state that sometimes the answer to some things is “no” and the only way to respond is to accept it.
