According to Global media publication, the actor-singer was awarded a plaque, honoring the movie album's sales milestone. The album sold about 6 million copies across the globe, earning itself a double-platinum status in the U.S.

The American singer, known for setting fashion goals and pushing boundaries with jaw-dropping couture, announced the big news on her official Instagram page with flawless bubblegum pink hair. She captioned with, "A year ago, A Star was Born, and here we are 6 times pink platinum," holding the plaque in the image.
The occasion not only marked the success of the film involving Lady Gaga and several other, but also the fact that the 33-year-old actress and singer was presented with a plaque honoring the album's sales milestones. The famous song, “Shallow” featuring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, the award-winning duo has gained much success since its release. The soulful song won two Grammy’s, including one for best pop duo/duo performance, an Oscar, and a Golden Globe during the 2019 awards season.

The film’s soundtrack got global recognition and became Gaga's second album to top the chart for two consecutive weeks after her 2011 Born This Way.
Following the 91st Academy Awards, the Star Is Born soundtrack made its way back the Billboard 200 charts for a fourth non-consecutive week, becoming the artist's longest-running number-one album in the country and also the first soundtrack to do since Frozen in 2013.
