Surprisingly, Lauren Graham's on-set romances are not new. Earlier, she dated Peter Krause, who portrayed her brother on the NBC drama Parenthood for over 10 years until their breakup in 2021.

In her 2016 memoir, "Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls," Graham shared that Kelly Bishop, who played  her on-screen mother in Gilmore Girls, played a main role in encouraging her to
start a relationship with Krause.

Lauren wrote, "In a maternal, protective way, she found most of my boyfriends at the time lacking, and once told me I needed someone who was more my equal, like 'that wonderful actor on Six Feet Under.'"

Some glimpses of the behind-the-scenes relationships further added a layer of warmth and connection to the Gilmore Girls legacy.

For the unversed, Lauren Graham is not the only Gilmore Girls alum to experience the off-screen romance. Alexis Bledel, who portrayed Lorelei's daughter Rory Gilmore, and Milo Ventimiglia, who played her character's love interest, were a real-life couple also. They couple for about three years until their split in 2006.
