'Let's get old school': With The Rock chaining a flying chopper to Roman Reigns showing up as his brother, the new 'Hobbs and Shaw' trailer is packed with action

The much-celebrated 'Fast and Furious' franchise is back with a bang as it recently unveiled a brand new trailer of its spin-off venture 'Hobbs and Shaw'. Featuring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham in the lead, the film promises to be one of the most celebrated action drama the world has ever witnessed. 

With Dwayne The Rock Johnson reprising his role as the ethical Hobbs and Jason Statham as the rogue Shaw, the trailer promises a 'biting chemistry' between of the actors who team up against Idris Elba's character in the film, who thanks to some human experimenting, attains superhuman strength and poses a really big threat to the world. While Hobbs is one of the most elite in the world in law enforcement, Shaw is an ex-British secret service agent who is as lethal as they come. Then, of course, the two have faced off against each other so they don't get along well, which ensures a lot of hilarity.

However, what makes the trailer more interesting is the grand debut of WWE Big Dog Roman Reigns, who is officially being featured alongside former wrestler Dwayne The Rock Johnson in the spinoff franchise. The  four-time world WWE champion is all set to make his silver screen debut with the film.  

The trailer that starts with a cat and dog banter between the two leads, includes tons and tons of action, which eventually gets crazier as they come across the 'Black Superman' aka Idris Elba's character in the film. Apparently, Shaw's sister stole a virus that can harm half of the world and now the genetically transformed villain is behind it to fulfil his evil intentions. However, It's not a gun and cars battle this time, as the team goes a bit 'old-school' to deal with the situation. Hobbes takes his partners back to his 'Home' where he takes along his brothers including Roman for the fight.

With Hobbs chaining a flying chopper to crazy traditional hand to hand combat,  'Hobbs and Shaw' has everything required for a staple action film.
