Deepa Mehta

Deepa Mehta is one of the most influential filmmakers in the industry. All of her movies are known for their bold and impressive storyline that has always managed to touch the audience's hearts. Some of her best works include Midnight's Children, Earth, Water, Fire and many more. She has also directed several documentaries that received critical acclaim all over the world. Deepa Mehta’s 2015 crime-thriller film Beeba Boys starring Randeep Hooda and Gulshan Grover was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Mira Nair

It was the second Indian film to get nominated for the Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film.

Meghna Gulzar

One of the most gripping and excellent movies made by Meghna Gulzar has earned her worldwide recognition. She is known for her critical as well as commercial spy-thriller film Raazi. It was one of the highest-grossing films in 2018 and also earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Director. She has also directed the masterpiece Talvar that is based on the 2008 Noida murder case.
