If you are a die-hard fan of the James Bond movie, then it's time to witness the new “bond”. In the recent interview of Naomi Harris, she said that the upcoming James Bond movie named No Time to Die will witness the iconic moment of Agent 007 getting “reconnected” with his heart. Ever since we have watched the James Bond movies, the protagonist of Daniel Craig's movies is an infamous women's man, has not been lucky in finding love on-screen since actor's first movie in 2006, Casino Royale.
James Bond to "reconnect"
In any case, Harris, who will repeat her character of MI6 agent Eve Moneypenny, said the group of spectators ought to expect a more up to date and a newer version of Bond this time. Harris in her interview with a British magazine said that as per the scripts the character of the Bond is likely to reconnect with his heart, the audience will get to see a Bond who will be closer to his emotions and feelings and certainly open to falling in love. She further added that Cary Joji Fukunaga directorial is a "tie-up of Skyfall and Spectre. She said that, a massive surprise on its way which even shocked her. She believes the new twist and turn will certainly shock the James Bond fans.
Depiction of women in the James Bond movies
She also commented on the depiction of women in the James Bond movies. History has witnessed that with times the depiction of women has changed considerably and the characters are more empowering than ever. She said that in ‘Spectre’, Bond is shown giving up his career for a woman, however, the spectators did not experience any more emotional attachment than that. She believes that with time, it is important to realize that women are more than just eye candy.
'No Time To Die' to come with a twist
Bond producer Barbara Broccoli hand-delivered the script to Naomi Harris, who happens to read the script in one go. The producer wanted to ensure that there are no leaks or revealings about the much-awaited bond movie. The actress seemed excited about the movie while acknowledging the personal touch. She said, "It was the personal touch. There was no putting it down, no stopping for anything. It's going to be fantastic," quoted by PTI. The movie No Time To Die, will also starr Jeffery Wright, Rami Malek, Ben Whishaw, Lea Seydoux, Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes and Lashana Lynch, is scheduled to be released on April 8 next year.
