Plot

Midway is a war-based film directed by Roland Emmerich. The film has been produced by Harald Kloser and the script of the film is written by Wes Tooke. Midway is based on the attack on Pearl Harbour by the Japanese navy on the US naval base which was stationed near the island of Hawaii. The following counter-attack done by the US happened after a span of six months which is known as the Battle of Midway. The damage caused by the Pearl Harbour attack caused nearly thousands of deaths and hundreds were injured.

In the film’s trailer, the documentation of both the wars has been done. Midway’s trailer also gives special emphasis to the cryptographers who were able to determine Japan’s date and location of another attack which gave an upper hand to the US mission. The Battle of Midway resulted in the US having a major advantage in the Pacific War. Several War historians have termed the Battle of Midway as a stunning and decisive blow to any country’s naval base. It also considered being one of the best naval engagements in Naval history.
