Noah Centineo could be the new Master of the Universe, here's what he is likely to play

Looks like 2019 is a year of superheroes. After 'Captain Marvel', 'Avengers: Endgame' and 'Black Widow' solo spin-off franchise, now a re-boot of 1987 'Masters of the Universe' is in making. 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' fame, Noah Centineo, who recently appeared in Sony's 'Charlie’s Angels', has been roped for another venture of the production house. 

As per media reports, he is in talks to join the project and take up the lead role portraying the classic toy character, He-Man. Based on the Mattel's popular toy line, which was later converted into a successful animated TV series (1983-85) as well as a 1987 film, the upcoming 'Masters of the Universe' film revolves around Prince Adam of the magical kingdom of Eternia, who uses his Power Sword to transform into the hero He-Man and defends his kingdom and Castle Grayskull, which the source of his power, from Skeletor, the villain of the storyline.

Reportedly, brothers Adam and Aaron Nee will be directing the superhero film. It is jointly backed by Sony Pictures and Mattel Films’ and will be scripted by 'Iron Man' writers Art Marcum and Matt Holloway.  

Meanwhile, Noah Centineo who debut in the industry in 2011, is known for his performance in the final three seasons of the television series 'The Fosters', and the television film 'How to Build a Better Boy' (2014). The actor recently became an overnight sensation after his breakthrough performance in Netflix's 2018 romantic comedy films 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before'.
