American actor, producer, and director Robert De Niro claims that US President Donald Trump is a “dirty player” and is attempting to harm the institution in order to save himself. De Niro further added that the US President won't get away with it forever. Last month, the veteran actor had also reportedly called the US President a person with no ethics and morals. Before the International premiere of De Niro's upcoming film 'The Irishman' at the BFI London Film Festival he said, "Today, everything's been turned upside-down because of Trump because he's such a dirty player. He won't get away with it forever, but he is getting away with saying these things about every institution.”

While talking about the need to protect the instituion he added, "he's trying to destroy them and for only one reason: to save himself. And we all know this."

'Wannabe gangster'

In April 2019, De Niro took a jibe at Trump and reportedly called him a wannabe gangster in the White House, adding that even gangsters had morals and ethics. This shows that his feelings have not changed. The actor wasn’t the only person in Hollywood to stand against Trump. Ready to see the impeachment inquiry underway, director Spike Lee is also rooting for the ousting of “Agent Orange”. When the Oscar-winner was asked who he liked for the 2020 presidential election, all Lee would say was “Agent Orange, gotta go,” referring to Trump.

Ilhan Omar hits back

United States President Donald Trump attacked Ilhan Omar, the representative from Minnesota on October 10 and rose the allegations yet again that Omar married her brother to commit immigration fraud. After the US President's comments on Omar, she took to Twitter to reply saying that his hatred is no match for the movement her followers have created. A few hours after Omar defended her values in the face of US President's comment, she further retweeted an image of her supporter holding a sign which calls Minnesota her “home” and that she won it without the help of either Ukraine or Russia. It was also a direct attack on President Trump's ongoing impeachment inquiry along with the Muller investigation which disclosed Russian interference in the elections of 2016.
