Sarah Jessica Parker Denies Accusations

'Sex and the City' star Sarah Jessica Parker who has been charged for keeping 150,000 US Dollars worth of jewellery from Kat Florence Design has put forward a statement in her defence. As per media reports, the solicitor of the 53-year-old Hollywood actress has refused all accusations. Ira Schreck, who represented Parker at the court said that the allegations against the actress are false and claimed that Parker was under contract to Kat Florence who asked her to keep the jewellery so that she could wear it on red carpets and other events.

She further stated that Parker would never hold onto anything that doesn't belong to her and stated that she has been asking the company to take the jewellery back but they have not shown any interest in getting them back.

 As per media reports, the 'Hocus Pocus' star is being sued by Kat Florence Design on Wednesday for not returning some accessories, that she allegedly borrowed during a photo shoot for the brand. The jewellery that she allegedly absconded back in 2016 included earrings worth 40,706.72 US Dollars and a ring worth 27,115 US Dollars. In fact, the company stated that she asked if she has also personally borrowed some pieces of the jewellery to wear for which the company agreed to for a period of two months. But the jewellery designing company stated that they never got the jewellery back. 

Parker signed up as a model for Kat Florence Design, but soon after their joint venture failed, both the parties got involved in a legal battle. The actress launched a case against the company complaining that it wrongfully stopped paying her. However, Kat Florence Design now wants restoration amount of 150,000 US Dollars to the tune as part of the ongoing legal battle.

On the work front, Sarah Jessica Parker will be next seen in Paramount Pictures' upcoming film 'Here and Now' which is a romantic drama helmed by filmmaker Fabien Constant. The film stars Simon Baker opposite the actress. It is all set to hit the theaters on November 9, 2018.
