American actress and singer Scarlett Johansson has expressed her wish for an all-women Marvel movie. The actress, who is one of the world's highest-paid female actors since 2018, said to the media that any such movie would be "explosive and unstoppable". The star played Black Widow in Avengers: Endgame and the same character will be portrayed by her in the upcoming movie titled by the same name. The character originates from Captain America film, who was earlier known as Natasha Romanoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Pressing on the fact that powerful women are associated with Marvel, Scarlett said, "That group of actresses is so incredibly powerful and when they come together, it's explosive and unstoppable. So, yes, I'm pushing for that. I think audiences want it and I'm definitely one of them."
Brie Larson reiterates Scarlett's wish
The same idea was reiterated by her 'Avengers' co-star Brie Larson, who said that the female Marvel stars have already pitched the idea to Kevin Fiege. The Captain Marvel star said that though she is not in charge of the future of Marvel, she is really passionate about their work. She added that a lot of people talk about Marvel and she knows that will want such a movie and maybe it will happen also.
