'The Batman' link with 'Joker': Know what Robert Pattinson has to say

Robert Pattinson recently stated that Matt Reeves's The Batman is a different animal as compared to the recently released Joker. According to reports, it was recently announced that Zoe Kravitz will be playing the role of catwoman in the next The Batman movie and that Paul Dano will portray The Riddler, but Joaquin Phoenix's version of the Clown Price of Crime will not feature in the upcoming version.

'Both films are different worlds'

In an interview, Pattison, who is set to play the Dark Knight, said that both films are different worlds. He also added that he hasn't seen the Joker yet but plans on watching it soon. He also claimed that Joaquin is the best at what he does and that he is very thrilled to watch his film. The actor recently said that Batman was not a hero, adding it was a "complicated character", whose morality was "a little bit off".

'Batman’s not a Hero'

The actor recently claimed that he does not consider the Caped Crusader as a hero. The actor, during a recent interview, said that Batman is a complicated character but not a hero. Robert Pattinson also said that he thinks he can never play a real hero because the characters he plays must have some flaws in them.

The actor further revealed that he said 'yes' to the project because of director Matt Reeves. Robert Pattinson further said that he loves the director, and it’s a dope character whose morality is a little bit off. Filmmaker Matt Reeves, who was behind the last two films in the 'Planet of the Apes' franchise, is set to direct the trilogy of 'Batman' films starring Robert Pattinson in the lead.

Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Robert Pattinson has opened up about how he cannot believe to have gotten the role of Batman. While fans are divided over him portraying the Caped Crusader, he said that he himself never thought it was a realistic prospect.
