IMDb Top 250 Indian Movies: 12th Fail, Bandaa, Por Thozhil, Viduthalai Part 1 make impactful entries

IMDb has released the updated list of the top 250 Indian movies of all time. While the top ten in the list remain the same some of this year's releases have found a spot in it. Two Bollywood titles and two regional titles have entered the list of IMDb's list of top 250 Indian movies of all time.

New entries in IMDb's list of top 250 Indian films of all time

Tamil films Por Thozhil and Viduthalai Part 1 have occupied different spots in IMDb's list of top 250 Indian movies of all time. While crime thriller Por Thozil entered the list at 193rd spot, Vetrimaaran's Viduthalai Part 1 occupied the 139th spot.

12th Fail makes an impactful entry in IMDb's list

Vikrant Massey starrer 12th Fail, which emerged as a sleeper hit at the box office this year, is now the 20th film in IMDb's top 250 Indian movies of all time. This is a very impactful entry in the list as the spot it now occupies is a commendable one. It is based on the 2019 eponymous non-fiction book by Anurag Pathak about the real-life story of Manoj Kumar Sharma who overcame extreme poverty to become an Indian Police Service officer. The movie released to theatres on 27 October.

Meanwhile, Manoj Bajpayee starrer courtroom drama Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai has landed the 163rd spot in  IMDb's top 250 Indian movies of all time. The movie also drew critical acclaim from the audience when it premiered on OTT. After its success, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai released in theatres.
