Jailer mania goes global, Japanese women groove to Tamannaah Bhatia Kaavaalaa's song

Rajinikanth-Tamannaah Bhatia starrer Jailer made its theatrical debut on August 10. Even before its release, the actress made headlines with her hit number in the movie. The song, Kaavaalaa, not only garnered praise for the music but also for the unique choreography. Several fans on the internet recreated the song with their own twist. In recent developments, a video of two Japanese women doing the Kaavaalaa steps surfaced on social media on Sunday.

In the viral video, two Japanese women can be seen dressed in matching top and skirts set as they shake a leg to Kaavaalaa. They recreate the  hook step from the song in the clip . Internet users noticed the dancers' commitment to replicating the choreography frame by frame and praised them.

Jailer on a successful run at the box-office 

Meanwhile, Jailer has been breaking records in all directions. On day 4, the film entered the Rs 300 crore club. Jailer is the second fastest film to achieve this figure after 2.0  after Shankar’s 2.0 (2018), also starring Rajinikanth. In Tamil Nadu alone, Jailer has already earned more than Rs 100 crores. The new release is the fourth Rajinikanth-starrer to enter the Rs 300 crore club, after Endhiran, Kabali, and 2.0.

Jailer narrates the story of a retired cop (Rajinikanth) who enjoys spending time with his family. He is forced to reconnect with his violent side when his son (Vasanth Ravi) disappears under mysterious circumstances. The action-comedy stars Ramya Krishnan as the leading lady opposite the lead actor. She previously worked with Rajinikanth in Padayappa (1997). The cast also includes Tamannaah Bhatia, Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal,  Vinayakan in significant roles.
