Jailer stars Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Tamannaah Bhatia's staggering fees revealed

Rajinikanth starrer Jailer is all set to release on August 10. The movie has a star-studded cast including Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu and Shivaraj Kumar. A new report lists the remuneration the cast members received for their roles in the film.

Tamannaah Bhatia's salary for Jailer revealed

According to Manobala Vijayabalan, Rajinikanth is taking home a hefty sum for his role in the movie. The lead actor has reportedly earned a massive Rs 110 crore for Jailer. Mohanlal, who has a cameo role in the film, is reported to have earned Rs 8 crore for the appearance.

Amid the rising debate on pay parity, it is interesting to note that Tamannaah Bhatia, has reportedly been paid Rs 3 crore for Jailer, despite being the leading lady. The difference between her remuneration and the lead actor’s salary, as per reports, is a mammoth Rs 107 crore. Jackie Shroff, meanwhile, has taken home Rs 4 crore. 

Tamannaah addresses Jailer-Bhola Shankar clash 

Tamannaah Bhatia stars in both Jailer and Bhola Shankar which will release a day apart. In a recent interaction with 123 Telugu, the actress shared her experience of working on both films.

She shared, “I am ecstatic about Jailer and Bholaa Shankar. Megastar Chiranjeevi Garu and Superstar Rajinikanth Garu are legends in the film industry. My dream got fulfilled as I acted alongside them.” The actress has a pivotal role in Jailer, while she is reportedly in a cameo appearance in Bhola Shankar.
