Rajinikanth's character has been introduced as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian in the showcase video of Jailer. After watching the video, it has been speculated that Nelson may have written the character of Tiger after taking inspiration from Mike from Breaking Bad. Mike was a man whose actions spoke louder than his words.
