Kannada actor Darshan, along with others, has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping and murdering Renukaswamy. Darshan is believed to have conspired with several others for the brutal murder of his fan who allegedly made derogatory comments about his relationship with close friend Pavithra Gowda. As the investigation in the matter continues, Darshan's family has been on the receiving end of trolling over his actions. Darshan allegedly persuaded the victim to travel to Bengaluru from Chitradurga on the pretext of meeting him.In a tragic turn of events, Darshan’s men then allegedly kidnapped, tortured and murdered Renukaswamy. His body was dumped when a passer by discovered it as a dog was feeding off it. According to investigators, Renukaswamy had sent derogatory messages to Gowda (35) over her relationship Darshan. This is said to have instigated the killing. So far, 16 arrests have been made in the case and everyone including Darshan and Gowda are behind bars awaiting trial.
