Kannada Actress Sonu Srinivas Gowda Alleges Online Harassment By Darshan's Fans In Murder Case
Sonu Srinivas Gowda alleged harassment by Darshan's fans. She further shared that she received vulgar texts from his fans on Instagram and YouTube.
Actress and Bigg Boss Kannada OTT contestant Sonu Srinivas Gowda has alleged that she is facing online harassment by Darshan's fans. The latter is one of the 17 accused in the brutal murder of his fan Renukaswamy and is currently lodged in jail. In a video shared online, Sonu said that she was targeted for not speaking in support of Darshan.
Sonu says she is receiving vulgar texts from Darshan's fans
Sonu Srinivas Gowda alleged harassment by Darshan's fans. She further shared that she received vulgar texts from his fans on Instagram and YouTube. Sonu further requested Darshan's fans not to make obscene comments about her online. She also said that wrongdoers will be punished and everyone should wait for the Court's verdict in the Renukaswamy murder case.
Sonu, in her video said, "There are bad comments being posted on Instagram and YouTube that I have not spoken about D Boss (Darshan). We are all small and we don't want to talk about it. Whoever has made a mistake will be punished according to the law. The court will decide who is right and who is wrong, wait until then and don't make bad comments. I pray to god to give strength to both the families."
An overview of Renukaswamy murder case
Renukaswamy, a fan of Darshan, was abducted from Chitradurga on June 8 and was brutally tortured to death allegedly by 47-year-old actor Darshan and his gang for sending lewd messages to the key accused of the case, Pavithra Gowda. Police have so far arrested 17 people while hunt is on for a few others involved in the crime.
According to the police, actress Pavithra Gowda, Darshan and other accused involved in the case have been “creating obstacles continuously” in the investigation of the case.
