King of Kotha star Dulquer Salmaan talks about most fulfilling aspect of being an actor

Dulquer Salmaan reveals his favourite actors

Dulquer Salmaan named Brad Pitt and Matthew McConaughey as his favourite actors. He praised their exceptional work and unique approaches to their craft. The actor expressed his admiration for Pitt and spoke about his remarkable work and cool demeanor. He also commended McConaughey, mentioning that he had been reading his book Greenlights. He said that he was fascinated by McConaughey's adventurous life experiences and how they influence his performances.

"Brad Pitt is so cool. He does some amazing work. Also, Matthew McConaughey. I was just reading his book Greenlights. He’s very unique," he said.

When asked to choose between conflicting dates for the films Kammatipaadam and OK Kanmani, Dulquer said that while he cherished his experience in Kammatipaadam, he talked about his inability to decline an opportunity to work with Mani Ratnam. He expressed his desire for flexibility in schedules to work on both projects simultaneously.

While he finds immense satisfaction in his role as an actor, he also acknowledges the challenges that come with the profession. He added that the industry's ups and downs and the uncertainties it entails constitute the more demanding aspects of his career.
