Kishore Kumar is known for his legendary and iconic songs. Though he is always appreciated for his voice and his songs, Kishore Kumar was also evidently an amazing actor. He has given some great performances in the comedy and drama genre. The mix of lending his own voice musically to his characters reportedly made him stand out of the crowd. Here are some of Kishore Kumar's best films.

Half-Ticket (1964)

The premise of Half-Ticket was inspired by the Hollywood film You're Never Too Young. Kishore Kumar played a character pretending to be a kid in order to travel in the train on half a ticket. The film was a situational comedy where Pran played a negative role. The famous song Chill Chill Chilla Ke was picturised on Kishore Kumar for this film. The film is considered to be one of Kishore Kumar's best films by fans.

Padosan (1968) 

Padosan is one of the widely appreciated Indian classic films. It revolves around two neighbours (also called Padosan in Hindi) trying to impress a girl. Kishore Kumar played a drama director obsessed with minute details. His supporting character is evidently one of the best parts of the film. Kishore Kumar's melodic voice is also a big part of the film. Kishore Kumar was seen singing songs hiding behind the curtains in the bedroom, so as to lend his voice to the male lead who tries to woo the neighbour. This was a laughter treat for his fans.

Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi (1958)

Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi was a story of three brothers who run a garage. The film was a comedy family film where Kishore Kumar played the middle brother. Kishore Kumar sang many songs for the film including hits like Babu Samjho Ishare, Ek Ladki Bheegi Bhaagi Si and Haal Kaisa Hai Janaab Ka. The film was a box office success by reportedly becoming the second-highest-grossing film of 1958. The highlight of the film was Kishore Kumar's brothers acting alongside him in the film.
