EXO Chen marries non-celebrity girlfriend three years after legal marriage | Photos

EXO member Chen's surprise announcement of marriage and impending fatherhood came as a shock to fans in 2020. Three years later, he officially tied the knot in a lavish yet intimate wedding on October 22.  After discreetly registering his marriage in 2022 and celebrating the birth of his second child, Chen and his wife decided to mark their union with a formal wedding ceremony.

Several photos and videos from the wedding have been doing the rounds on social media. In one of the photos, the couple is seen walking down the aisle. The wedding venue played a significant role in setting the mood for the ceremony. It was adorned with white floral arrangements. The idol sported a black tuxedo and the bride was dressed in a white strapless bridal gown. For the reception, they changed into different attire, with Chen in a white suit and his wife in a red gown.

In a viral video, Chen was seen serenading his wife with a performance of an OST (Original Soundtrack) during the ceremony. Several members of the EXO family joined in the joyous celebration. Celebs' family, friends, and fellow EXO members, including Kai, Suho, Chanyeol, Xiumin, and Baekhyun attended the wedding.

Chen's love story came into the public eye when he first revealed his relationship with his non-celebrity girlfriend. The identity of her then-girlfriend and now wife has not been revealed yet. The couple went on to welcome their first child in April 2020. They registered their marriage in the same year, but they had not yet held a formal wedding ceremony.
