Seo Hyun Jin Narrowly Averts Backlash From BTS ARMY, Renders Apology For Slip-Up

BTS, a seven-member K-pop band consisting of RM, Suga, Jin, J-Hope, Jim, V and Jungkook, rose to international fame in 2017. The members, known for their roles as vocalist, songwriter, producer, rapper and dancer. Recently, actress Seo Hyun Jin who is best known for shows including Another Miss Oh and Inside Beauty issued an apology to BTS reasons.

Why did Seo Hyun Jin apologise to BTS fans?

Seo Hyun Jin had recently appeared in a YouTube video with actor Gong You where the two were playing a musical quiz. They had to guess songs and identify the artists from a short snippet played by the staff.

For the last song of the challenge, the snippet played was so short that both the actors complained that it was insufficient to recognise the song. With the familiar tune, they couldn’t recall the details. Later, Seo Hyun Jin got flustered because she couldn’t guess the song titled correctly and she funnily sunk down to the floor seeking apology to the BTS fans. She said, “I know a lot of their songs. I listened to them a lot.” Her dramatic reaction made the entire room break into a chuckle. Later the staff said the song played was DNA.

All about Seo Hyun Jin

Seo Hyun Jin is a South Korean actress and singer. She made her debut as the vocalist of South Korean girl group M.I.L.K in 2001. Seo made her acting debut in the musical The Sound of Music, followed by appearances  in several television series and film. She is best known for her leading role as Oh Hae-young in the romantic comedy TV series Another Miss Oh (2016), which gained her wider recognition.

She has been part of notable shows including Another Miss Oh, Inside Beauty, Why Her, Dr Romantic, The Trunk, Temperature of Love, You Are My Spring and Why Oh Too Jae among others.
