The South Korean singer and rapper firmly denied any involvement in such activities, and his fans rallied behind him. The full-length video shed new light on the situation, revealing that G-Dragon was simply performing stretching exercises before entering the shop. He greeted fans in a normal manner and proceeded to the store, dispelling any notions of erratic behavior. The rapper's fans defended him, suggesting that the short video had been edited to portray him negatively. 

What do we know about the ongoing investigation?

On October 25, G-Dragon was officially charged with violating drug management laws. The drug case involving G-Dragon remains under investigation, and as of now, the police have refrained from disclosing specific details. The authorities have confirmed that the case has no connection to the ongoing drug scandal involving Parasite actor Lee Sun Kyun, stating the need for a thorough and separate inquiry into each case.

In response to the drug-related charges, G-Dragon released an official statement on October 27 through his attorney, vehemently denying any involvement in drug use. He clarified, "First, there is no truth to the [claim] that I have taken drugs. Additionally, I have no relation to the news reports about the violation of the Act on the Control of Narcotics, etc., that was recently revealed in the media." G-Dragon also expressed his willingness to cooperate with police investigations, assuring that he will actively participate in the process.
