He was a native of Kasaragod. As per reports, a gang of robbers broke into his house at night and looted his house after attacking his family members. On realising that no more money was left in the house to take away, the goons killed Abdul and fled the scene.The murder came as a shocker to the police officials as the house was equipped with security facilities and CCTVs. Following this, the Kannur Squad went on a mission to nab the accused people. The team nabbed the culprits from 6000 km away from the scene of the crime. The movie starring Mammootty has been inspired by this incident but the film added several other elements to make the visuals more intense.
