Addressing the rumours, Parvathy clarified, "I haven't disappeared. Transitioning between industries is not as simple as moving from one district to another. The market has evolved, and we must adapt. I will pursue better opportunities regardless of the industry they come from."
She further elaborated, "It took four years to do 'Bangalore Days' after 'City of God.' Even then, when people thought of it as my comeback, I didn't see it that way."
Parvathy talks about the challenges of releasing films in theatres
Parvathy also discussed the current challenges of releasing films in theaters. "Producers have many responsibilities. Sometimes a movie planned for a theatrical release ends up on OTT platforms. OTT isn't a bad space; it's important that the film gets released."
Her upcoming film Ullozhukku, directed by Christo Tomy and co-starring Urvashi, is set to release in theaters on June 21. Additionally, Parvathy is involved in two more projects: the Tamil film Thangalaan directed by Pa Ranjith, featuring Chiyaan Vikram, and a Malayalam film titled Her. The release dates for these films have not yet been announced.
