Kalki 2898 AD On OTT: The Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone starrer pan-India film, which conquered the box office after its release on June 27, is now all set to dominate the digital world. The film, which set the cash registers ringing, is all set to make his OTT debut.

According to reports, the sci-fi film will begin streaming from August 23 on  streaming giant Amazon Prime Video. While movies have been dropping on OTT within weeks of their theatrical releases, Kalki 2899 AD will premiere after nearly 2 months of its run in theatres.

With its brilliant storyline, visual effects, outstanding performances by the cast, the movie has become a global phenomenon. The Prabhas starrer has collection over ₹277 crore in Hindi. Interestingly, North India has come out to be the biggest market for the Prabhas starrer. It has done exceptional business in Hindi. As per the latest update about its collections, Kalki 2898 AD has crossed the ₹600 crore mark at India box office. As per the reports, Kalki 2898 AD has taken the global box office by storm and has garnered over ₹1100 crore.

About Kalki 2898 AD

Directed by Nag Aswin, Kalki 2898 AD takes place in a dystopian future that opens six thousand years after Kurukshetra War from Mahabharata. It follows the story of a modern avatar of Hindu god Vishnu, who is said to have descended on Earth to protect the world from evil forces.

The mega-blockbuster, produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, features music composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the ensemble cast also includes Rajendra Prasad, Disha Patani, Saswata Chatterjee, Brahmanandam, Anna Ben, Shobana, Mrunal Thakur, Dulquer Salmaan, and Vijay Deverakonda in pivotal roles. Kalki 2899 AD released on June 27. Apart from Hindi, the film was also released un Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
