Life Hill Gayi actress Kusha Kapila, who hails from Delhi, in a recent interview, opened up about her experience shifting to Mumbai.

Kusha Kapila, who started as an influencer, paved her way into the film industry in 2020 with Netflix's anthology Ghost Stories. Since then, there has been no looking back for the influencer turned actress and since then has appeared in movies, including Plan A Plan B, Thank You for Coming and Ishq Vishk Rebound. Currently, she is being featured in a web series Life Hill Gayi, co-starring Divyenndu at Disney Plus Hotstar.

Kusha, who hails from Delhi, in a recent interview, opened up about her experience shifting to Mumbai. She revealed how unsafe it was to walk in Delhi sometimes and recalled an incident where she was harassed by 7 men in Delhi Metro.

You are as safe in Delhi as you are privileged: Kusha Kapila

In an interview with Hauterrfly, Kusha shared that "freedom of movement" in Mumbai is new to her because one can't walk around "freely" in Delhi, especially at night. "You are as safe in Delhi as you are privileged. There’s a proportion. If you happen to use public transport then that defence mechanism automatically creeps into you," she added.

When asked if she experienced anything similar, Kusha said, "Yes" and recalled an incident when once someone tried to pinch her friend's behind. Opening up about her experience, she stated that once she caught an elderly man clicking her photos on public transport.

When Kusha Kapila was harassed by 6-7 boys in Delhi

In the same conversation, the Life Hill Gayi actress was asked if anything had happened to her on Delhi streets. Kusha recalled she was returning from her office from the metro around 7-7:30 when she encountered an incident. "I was walking frisky when this group of guys catcalled me by shouting, only if you had worn a bra, everything would be stable," she continued. On hearing this, she thought of her safety first and ran to the nearest metro station.
