Bridgerton 3 first poster out, Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Featherington to lead new season

Bridgerton makers gave fans a delightful present on the occasion of Christmas. The first poster from the upcoming third season of the show was unveiled on Monday, December 25. It featured Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Featherington, who will be the lead character of the story this season.

Nicola as Penelope appears in the reflection of a hand mirror in the first official poster for Bridgerton Season 3, which was just released on Netflix. The statement on the tagline read, “Even a wallflower can bloom.”

Other new pictures from the show featured Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley. They will be reprising their second season’s characters Anthony Bridgerton and Kathani Sharma respectively. 

What to expect from Bridgerton Season 3? 

The protagonist of the upcoming season is Penelope Featherington, who also moonlights as Lady Whistledown. Having heard Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) declare he would never court her, Penelope has finally given up on her long-standing crush on him. 

Nevertheless, our gals have decided it's time to find a husband—ideally, one who can give her ample freedom to carry on leaking court tea in her role as the sullen Lady. However, due to her lack of confidence, Penelope's attempts in the marriage market fail miserably.

Talking about Colin, the Bridgerton sibling has returned from his summer vacation sporting a fresh appearance and a swagger that seems appropriate for the 19th century. However, he is demoralized to see that dependable Penelope is ignoring him. Colin, eager to regain her friendship, offers to coach Penelope in confidence-building techniques so that she can find a husband.
