Kalki 2898 AD Animated Series Bujji And Bhairava Teases Nag Ashwin's Sci-fi Universe: Watch

Kalki 2898 AD is all set to hit the big screens on June 27. The movie's trailer release in he first week of June would kick-start the promotions but before that, an animated series based within the Kalki 2898 AD universe is set to stream on Prime Video. "Every superhero needs a best friend. #BujjiAndBhairava on @PrimeVideoIN from May 31st," Prime Video wrote on social media sharing the series teaser.

Bujji and Bhairava teaser out

The trailer of India's first mytho-sci-fi animated series Bujji and Bhairava was shared by the team of Kalki 2898b AD on Thursday. The series is based in the universe created by Nag Ashwin for Prabhas starrer. Prabhas' character Bhairava's fun and action filled side is also shown in the series. Like the pan-India movie, Bujji and Bhairava is also directed by Nag Ashwin. The futuristic vehicle Bujji is voiced by Keerthy Suresh. The chemistry of the two characters will be interesting to witness.

What do we know about Kalki 2898 AD?

Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani star in Kalki 2898 AD. The sci-fi flick is helmed by Nag Ashwin, known for his directorial works such as Yevade Subramanyam and Mahanati. The film is touted to be a mythology-inspired sci-fi extravaganza set in the future.

Last year, Kalki 2898 AD made waves after its ground-breaking debut at San Diego Comic-Con last year, earning massive global acclaim. The film's release was postponed because of the Lok Sabha polls 2024.
