Miss Perfect first look out: Lavanya Tripathi star in a corporate comedy web series

Marking the end of her short acting hiatus, Lavanya Tripathi will now be seen in the Disney Plus Hotstar web series Miss Perfect. The show, which is directed by Vishwak Khande Rao, who is best known for the movie Skylab, marks Lavanya's acting comeback after a hiatus and marriage with Varun Tej. The announcement of Miss Perfect came with a first-look poster. 

Miss Perfect poster hints at a story about corporate life

Aside from Lavanya, the first look featured actors Abijeet (Life is Beautiful, Modern Love Hyderabad) and Abhignya Vuthaluru (Men Too, HER). The three are dressed professionally and have perplexed looks on their faces. It is said that Lavanya is portraying the CEO of a software company. In the series, Abijeet will portray Lavanya's romantic interest.

Lavanya has already finished filming her scenes and dubbing the same parts for Miss Perfect before her wedding. The show is currently in post-production, and Hotstar will soon reveal the official release date, which is scheduled to take place before a special event where the creators will reveal the teaser for the program.

Miss Perfect is made under the banner of Annapurna Studios and marks Lavanya's second OTT series. She made her OTT debut in 2023 on Zee 5 with the cop drama web series Puli Meka. 

Lavanya Tripathi-Varun Tej’s wedding

On the personal front, Lavanya got married to Varun Tej in Tuscany, Italy on November 1. Famous actors from the Telugu film industry, such as Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Sai Dharam Tej, and Nithiin, graced the star-studded event.

A few weeks ago, the couple was on their honeymoon in London. Now, they have returned to begin filming their respective roles in the Telugu industry.
