Rajinikanth's Jailer gets censor certificate, to release on August 10
Rajinikanth's upcoming film Jailer gets certified by the censor board. The movie will now release with a U/A certificate in theatres on August 10.
Jailer, starring Rajinikanth, is an upcoming action comedy movie. It is helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamaavu Kokila fame, The film also stars Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, and Yogibabu, among others in a prominent role. Ahead of its release, the film received clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

Rajinikanth's Jailer to release with U/A certificate
The official production house of Jailer, Sun Pictures, took to their official Twitter handle to share an intriguing poster of Rajinikanth from Jailer. The poster featured the Sivaji actor's reflection. He was seen with a gun. Rajinikanth was seen walking towards the camera in the shadow with red colour in the backdrop.

The poster featured the U/A sign which emphasised that the film has been certified. This further piqued the interest of the viewers and added to the excitement surrounding the film. Sharing the poster, the makers wrote, "Jailer certified U/A. Get ready to witness the rage of Muthuvel Pandian from Aug 10th."
The film receiving a U/A certificate from the CBFC means that it is suitable for all viewers above the age of 12.
Tamannaah Bhatia reveals Jailer is not a pan-India film
Jailer features Tamannaah in a key role. She has garnered attention with the Kaavaalaa song. During the launch of its Hindi version titled Tu Aa Dilbara, Tamannaah interacted with the media and shared an detail about Jailer.
"Jailer is not a pan-India film and that has not been the intention. We have made rooted true to its region film," she said
