After doing some cop-dramas and action films, John Abraham will be seen in comedy-centric Pagalpanti later this year. Although two big-budget films getting released on the same date has become quite common in Bollywood, sometimes makers of the film adjust the release date to make space for another big film. This time, the makers of John's film have done this great gesture by shifting the release date of his Pagalpanti. The film also stars Ileana D’Cruz, Anil Kapoor, Kriti Kharbanda, Arshad Warsi, Urvashi Rautela, Saurabh Shukla, and Pulkit Samrat in pivotal roles.
John Abraham’s Pagalpanti Release Date Shifted, Know Why
It is said that John Abraham has pushed the release date of Pagalpanti by one week to avoid a clash with Siddharth Malhotra and Reitesh Deshmukh’s Marjaavaan. The release date of the film Marjaavaan had recently been postponed by the makers to November 22, 2019. Now, John Abraham has agreed to swap the release dates of his film Pagalpanti with Marjaavan. As a result, the film Pagalpanti will now be releasing on November 22, 2019, while Marjaavan will release on November 8, 2019. This gesture deserves a lot of appreciation. However, this has also resulted in Pagalpanti losing its solo release at the box office. The film will now see a clash at the box office with the Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer Bala.

“The last time I was doing comedy was in Welcome Back. In Pagalpanti you'll see my body language and everything else and you'll realise it's not the same John. There will be a visible change," John told PTI. “I've tried to improve in the genre by leaps and bounds. That's what my director told me. I believe it's very important to improve. Cinema is about entertainment and if I can do a convincing job by making people laugh, it’s amazing. I am excited for the film," he added.
