After Allu Arjun And Prabhas, Dhanush Donates Rs 25 Lakh To Wayanad Landslide Relief Fund

After Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun, Prabhas and Ram Charan, now Dhanush has joined the list of celebs offering support to Wayanad landslide victims. The Raayan actor has donated a major sum to the Kerala CM relief fund.
How much has Dhanush donated to the Kerala CM relief fund?
Actor and director Subramaniam Shiva took to his X handle and shared that the actor has donated Rs 25 lakh towards the flood relief fund. "Our beloved #Dhanush Extends Support to #Wayanad Flood Relief. @dhanushkraja has contributed Rs 25 lakhs towards flood relief efforts (sic)", he wrote.

Other actors who donated to the Kerala CM Relief fund
Earlier, Prabhas donated Rs 2 crore to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF). As per PTI, while Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan donated Rs 1 crore, Allu Arjun pledged an amount of Rs 25 lakh. Malayalam stars Mammootty, Dulquer Salmaan, Fahadh Faasil, Nazriya, and Tovino Thomas, Tamil stars actors Kamal Haasan, Suriya, Jyotika, Karthi, Vikram, Nayanthara and Vignesh Sivan, and noted filmmaker Anand Patwardhan also donated to the CMDRF.
What's next for Dhanush?
Tamil actor was recently seen in Raayan which earned mixed reviews from critics with praise for Dhanush's performance, but the plot and post-interval portions received criticism. The film earned over ₹126.75 crore worldwide and is currently the second-highest-grossing Tamil film of 2024 and the highest-grossing A-rated Tamil film of all time. Next, the actor will be seen in Kubera, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna and Nagarjuna. Helmed by Sekhar Kammula, the actor is busy with the shooting of the movie. It is expected to hit the theatres next year.
