Arjun Sarja's Daughter Aishwarya-Umapathy Ramaiah's Haldi, Mehendi Ceremonies Photos Go Viral

Aishwarya Arjun and Umapathy Ramaiah have kicked off their pre-wedding festivities in Chennai. They started with a haldi ceremony, followed by a mehendi ceremony both were held at Arjun Sarja’s residence. Several photos from the function are going viral on the internet, offering a sneak peek into the private affair.

Several photos from the intimate haldi ceremony are doing the rounds in which the family was dressed in shades of yellow, while the bride-to-be opted for an off-white traditional ensemble. In one of the photos, Aishwarya’s mother can be seen applying haldi to her cheeks, followed by a photo of Arjun Sarja kissing his daughter’s forehead.

The album also included photos from the mehendi ceremony which was also attended by Umapathy Ramaiah and his family. For the function, Aishwarya wore a yellow ensemble, accessorised with jhumka and sported natural makeup with kohl-rimmed eyes. Umapathy, on the other hand, looked handsome in a black embroidered sherwani and sported long hair and a neat beard.

What else do we know about the wedding?

According to a report in Pinkvilla, the couple will get married in an intimate ceremony on June 14 at Leela Palace in Chennai. As per the invite, the function will begin at 6:30 PM. It will be attended by their close family and friends.

For the unversed, Aishwarya and Umapathy met on the reality show Survivor which was hosted by Arjun Sarja. The couple got engaged last year in October after dating for a few years.

Aishwarya Arjun made her debut in 2013 with the Tamil film Pattathu Yaani alongside Vishal. She has also acted in films such as Prema Baraha (2018) and Sollividava (2018). The actress is yet to announce her next film.
