Captain Miller: Dhanush led period drama releases second single Un Oliyile ahead of Pongal release

Dhanush is currently gearing up for the release of his next big banner project, Captain Miller. The Arun Matheswaran helmed period drama was initially slated for a release on December 15. However, the film now stands officially delayed to Pongal 2024. Post Killer Killer (Captain Miller), the film's first single, the makers have now released the second single - Un Oliyile.

Captain Miller's second single now out

Sathya Jyothi films, the production house bankrolling Captain Miller, took to their social media handles, on December 22, to share a promo for Captain Miller's second single. A lyrical video was promptly released the following day. Unlike Killer Killer (Captain Miller) which can be described as a fiery war song, Un Oliyile is a romantic track.

Across a series of animated stills from the film, the lyrical video showcases the chemistry between Dhanush and Priyanka Mohan. Un Oliyile has been sung by Sean Roldan. The lyrics for the same have been penned by Kaber Vasuki with the music being composed by GV Prakash.

What is next for Dhanush?

As Dhanush awaits the release of Captain Miller, the actor-director has already moved on to his following releases - D50 and DD3. D50, also being dubbed DD2, marks Dhanush's second directorial post his 2017 directorial debut Pa Paandi. Dhanush recently announced the wrap on DD2, thanking everybody that was involved with the film. Dhanush also officially announced his third directorial venture, tentatively titled DD3.

DD3 will be a love story starring Dhanush's nephew Shravan Kumar along side former child actor Anikha Surendran. The film will go on floors on December 24. GV Prakash, who has given the music for Captain Miller, will also reportedly giving the music for DD3.
