Jayam Ravi, Nithiya Menen starrer Kadhalikka Neramillai first posters out

The makers of Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen starrer Kadhalikka Neramillai have unveiled the first look of the film. The title translates to No Time For Love, hinting at a romantic love story. The film is helmed by actor-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin’s wife Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi.

On Wednesday, Jayam Ravi took to his X (formerly Twitter handle) and shared a set of two posters. In the poster, we can see the blurred image of Jayam Ravi and Nithya hugging each other. In the caption he wrote in Tamil which we loosely translated to "No Time For Love" and used the hashtag, "Kadhalikka Neramillai".

Produced by Red Giant Movies, the film also stars Yogi Babu, Vinay Rai and Lal, in pivotal roles. The name of the film is similar to the hit 1964 Tamil film, which starred Balaiah and Rajasree in the lead roles. The film revolved around the story of a man who fell for his boss’ daughter. To convince his boss to give his daughter's hand for marriage, he asks his best friend to pose as his father, leading to a comedy of errors.

Kadhalikka Neramillai's music department will be handled by AR Rahman with Gavemic U Ary cranking the camera. Filming for the film is currently in progress. A release date and further updates are yet to be announced.

The upcoming film marks the fourth directorial venture by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi in total after debuting back in 2013 with the romantic-comedy movie Vanakkam Chennai starring Shiva and Priya Anand.

What's next for Jayam Ravi?

The actor will be seen in a film titled Brother directed by M Rajesh with Priyanka Arul Mohan in the lead role. He also has the film Siren co-starring Anupama Parameswaran and Keerthy Suresh in key roles.
