Kanguva Trailer: Suriya, Bobby Deol Face-Off In A Visual Spectacle From Siva
Suriya starrer Kanguva marks the Tamil debut of Bobby Deol and Disha Patani. It is scheduled to be released on October 10, coinciding with Dussehra.
Suriya and Bobby Deol are set to clash in a highly anticipated movie Kanguva, co-starring Disha Patani. On Monday, makers finally unveiled the trailer of the movie offering a sneak peek of the intense face between the two tribal leaders. Helmed by Siva, the Tamil fantasy drama marks the Tamil debut of Bobby and Disha.
Suriya and Bobby Deol prepare for an epic battle
The over 2-minute trailer opens up with a pan shot of a village hinting at many mysterious lies scattered across the island. The next frame introduces Bobby Deol as Udhiran in a bone-chilling avatar. Then enters Suriya as Kanguva who is a skilled fighter and a leader. The trailer shows his valour at a war scene, fighting and cutting off his opponents into pieces. He can be mouthing a powerful dialogue, "When severed, my head may fall to the ground but my forehead and knees will never yield. I shall never surrender." However, in the trailer, Suriya and Bobby are not shown together and just show them preparing for an epic battle. Disha Patani is also not shown in the trailer.
Seeing the trailer, it seems there will be another part to it as earlier makers shared a poster that confirmed Suriya's double role in the movie, featuring him in two different timelines - tribal and modern.
Studio Greens shared the trailer on its X handle and wrote, "The Rise of the King. Witness the #KanguvaTrailer".
What else do we know about Kanguva?
Apart from Suriya, Bobby and Disha, the movie also stars Jagapathi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, Yogi Babu, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, K. S. Ravikumar and Redin Kingsley, in the supporting roles. The technical crew includes Devi Sri Prasad, Vetri Palanisamy and Nishadh Yusuf, as music composer, cinematographer and editor, respectively. Kanguva is scheduled to be released on October 10, coinciding with Dussehra in standard, 3D and IMAX formats.
