Dhanush filed ₹10 crore lawsuit for 3-second video in documentary

The 39-year-old actress, in her 3-page letter against Dhanush, shared she was shocked after receiving a legal notice for using a three-second behind-the-scenes clip from the 2015 movie Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in the documentary. Nayanthara said she would be giving a “befitting” reply to Dhanush’s notice through lawful means. Nayanthara noted that the film was released almost 10 years ago but Dhanush continues to act “vile while wearing a mask in front of the world”.

How did Dhanush's father Kasturi Raja react to Nayanthara's outburst in public?

Highlighting that Dhanush is unfazed by Nayanthara's open letter against him, Kasturi Raja said, “Work is important to us. We are moving forward. We don’t have time to answer those who chase us or talk behind our backs. Much like me, my son is focused only on his work.” When asked if it's true that Nayanthara waited two years to get a no-objection certificate from Dhanush, he replied, “I don’t want to talk about it.”

Dhanush was the producer of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, where Nayanthara fell in love with Vignesh. The latter served as a director.
