Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi's SK21 to hit the big screens on THIS date next year?

The Sivakarthikeyan led and Kamal Haasan produced SK 21 has almost completed filming and is reportedly eyeing a release date for next year.

Actor Sivakarthikeyan is currently riding high on the success of his last release, action flick Maaveeran. Maaveeran was received well by audiences with the film collecting ₹53.53 crores in its India collections. The worldwide collections for Maaveeran stand at₹78.40 crores. Post Maaveeran, the actor is in the midst of filming for SK 21. If reports are to be believed SK21 has already set its sights on a release date next year.

SK 21 to hit theatres in 2024?


Sivakarthikeyan is currently in the midst of shooting for SK 21, another high-octane action flick. Besides the actor himself, the film also stars Sai Pallavi and Rahul Bose in key roles. The film is being jointly produced by Kamal Haasan and Sony Pictures. The  Rajkumar Periasamy directorial has almost completed its shoot schedule in Puducherry. With 80% of the filming complete, the SK 21 is now heading towards its final leg of filming in Chennai.


With most SK 21's filming being taken care of, the film has reportedly set its sights on a release date in 2024. As per an India Glitz report, SK 21 will be hitting theatres in August of 2024. This will be preceded by the first look and much-awaited title announcement on the occasion of Pongal next year.

What is SK 21 about?


There is no doubt regarding the fact that SK 21 will be another high-octane action flick from Sivakarthikeyan. The backdrop of the film is set against the military. What's more, there have been immense speculations regarding the film allegedly being the biopic of martyr Major Mukund Varadarajan - though there has been no official confirmation on this.

SK 21 will also star Lallu, Ajay Naga Raaman, Mir Salman and Gaurav Venkatesh among others.
