After Taimur toys, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ characters’ dolls are the new rage; Ekta Kapoor and Hina Khan reacted to them in this manner

Can it be said toys in the market are the biggest indicator of one's popularity? The Taimur Ali Khan toys a few months ago had made headlines galore, and the latest that toy makers have got creative with, are of the characters from the popular serial ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, Prerna and Komolika. Even producer Ekta Kapoor reacted to it by calling it the ‘biggest compliment’.

Apart from being backed TV queen Ekta’s banner, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ has been in the news ever since Shah Rukh Khan had launched the show a few months ago. The previous season of the show, starring Shweta Tiwari, Cezanne Khan, Urvashi Dholakia and Ronit Roy, many years too, was among the most popular of that time that played a part in Ekta’s rise as a TV producer. The latest season brought on board well-known TV names like Erica Fernandes, Parth Samthaan and Hina Khan.

The serial is regularly among the top names in the TRP ratings regularly and that seems to have resulted in immense love for the characters. As a result, their toys have sprung up in the market. From the simpler Prerna to the flashier Komolika, the attention to detail from outfits to jewellery by the creators is top-notch. 

Even the character of Nivedita, played by Pooja Banerjee, was among the lucky ones to get one.

Ekta couldn’t hold her delight looking at the dolls and called it the ‘biggest compliment’ for the ‘iconic characters.’ 

Hina posted collages of the pictures of the dolls along with her real snaps and that said it all about her love for it.

We wonder if more serial characters would witness a similar response for their characters.
