Bigg Boss 13: All you need to know about contestant Wajid Khan

The 13^th season of Bigg Boss has started has been grabbing the headlines. The ‘only celebrities’ edition this season has one more name added to the list of contestants. This season will also see popular music director, composer, singer and guitarist, Wajid Khan. A few days back, the makers of Bigg Boss released a promo featuring Neha Kakkar and Farah Khan introducing Wajid Khan.

Facts you may not know about Wajid Khan

Born in Uttar Pradesh, Wajid Khan is the son of well-known tabla player Ustad Sharafat Khan. Wajid Khan is one of the halves of popular music composer Sajid-Wajid duo. Sajid and Wajid Khan started their career with the film Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya in 1998. The film features Salman Khan and Kajol in lead roles. The duo is well known for their music in films like Tere Naam, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Partner, Wanted, Dabangg, and Ek Tha Tiger. Furthermore, the duo even composed the IPL-4 theme song titled Dhoom Dhoom Dhoom Dhadaka.

Wajid Khan and his love for Salman Khan

In an earlier interview, Wajid revealed that he shares a good bond with Salman Khan. Sajid-Wajid also appeared in the 8^th season of Bigg Boss and a lot of fans are waiting to see Wajid on the show once again.

Bigg Boss 13 premiered on Septemeber 29, 2019. In the premiere episode itself, the contestants were given tasks. The first episode aired on September 30, 2019. Here is a list of all the celebs who are locked inside the Bigg Boss 13 house. The contestants are Rashmi Desai, Siddharth Shukla, Shehnaz Gill, Paras Chhabra, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Koena Mitra, Dalljiet Kaur, Siddharth Dey, Arti Singh, Asim Riaz, Abu Malik, Shefali Bagga, and Mahira Sharma.
